She continued: ‘I tested positive for COVID-19 about an hour ago, so yeah, please, I don’t know [what to say]but at least my hair looks good.’

An hour later, she uploaded another recording, after changing into a pair of black pajamas and throwing her hair in a ponytail, to reflect on having to isolate away from her husband Chris Fischer and their son Gene, three.

In the clip, the Life & Beth star admitted to feeling ‘lonely’ and bored, but ceased the opportunity to show off her ‘incredibly Elizabeth Holmes voice.’

‘This is what I sound like now that I have COVID,’ she mused of her deep voice, which sounded eerily similarly to that of the disgraced Theranos founder.

Under both posts, Schumer received an outpouring of comments wishing her a speedy recovery.

Just two days ago, while appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she and the host talked about how she is one of the few celebrities he knows that has yet to contract the coronavirus.

She then pointed the sky and said: ‘Hey, He’s [God] looking out. So stupid.’

The past week has been particularly busy for the star, who attended the Met Gala on Monday and a pro-choice rally in Manhattan just days before flying to Los Angeles for her show, which was ultimately canceled.
